에쓰-오일(주) 엔진오일 용기 디자인 리뉴얼 출시
S-OIL Released Renewed Design for Motor Oil Container

(주)212컴퍼니에서 용기를 새로 디자인한 에쓰-오일(주)의 윤활유, 에쓰-오일 세븐(S-OIL 7)이 출시되었다. 이번 용기는 212컴퍼니에서 10년 전 디자인했던 용기를 새롭게 리뉴얼한 것으로, 자동차용 전 제품 구성 체계화를 위해 기획되었다.

S-OIL's motor oil, S-OIL SEVEN, with a newly designed container by 212 Company, has been released. This container was renewed from the one designed by 212 Company 10 years ago, and was planned to standardize the product lineup for all automotive lubricants.
‌디자인은 견고하면서도 부드럽게 흐르는 손잡이 형상을 통해 S-OIL CI의 활기찬 역동성과 세련미를 표현하였다. 본체와 손잡이 기능을 형상적으로 분리하여 환경친화적 조형인 가볍고 컴팩트한 이미지를 지향하였다.

The design expresses the lively dynamism and sophistication of S-OIL CI through the shape of a handle that flows smoothly and firmly. The main body and handle functions are separated figuratively to pursue a light and compact image that is environmentally friendly.
‌경제성을 위해 용기 면적을 최적화하여 재료비를 절감하였고, 절단되는 라벨면의 최소화와 함께 역동적인 라벨 그래픽 형태의 사이에서도 균형을 주었다.

Material costs were reduced by optimizing the container area for economic feasibility, and a balance was given between the dynamic label graphic form along with the minimization of the area that was cut and discarded.
‌용기 적재 시 하중 분산을 고려한 디자인으로 누유를 방지하고, 라벨 면의 단순화와 얕은 라벨 보호 턱 적용으로 부착 불량의 최소화를 고려하였다.

When the container is loaded, the design considering the load distribution prevents the contents from leaking out, and the minimization of label attachment defects by simplifying the label surface and applying shallow label protection steps was considered.
