㈜212컴퍼니가 디자인을 완료한 칫솔, 트로마츠 프리미엄이 출시를 앞두고 있다. ㈜프록시헬스케어가 개발하여 칫솔에 적용된 ‘트로마츠 웨이브’는 인체에 안전한 미세 파동이 1초에 1000만 번 발생하면서 치간(잇몸과 치아의 경계면)의 플라크를 제거하는 기술이다. 신기술이 적용된 칫솔로서 기존의 칫솔류와는 차별화된 디자인을 시도하였고, 프리미엄 제품으로서의 정체성을 확립하며 브랜드의 가치와 메시지를 전달하고자 하였다.
Tromatsu-Premium, a toothbrush designed by 212 Company, is about to be released. ‘Tromats-Wave’, developed by Proxihealthcare and applied to toothbrushes, is a technology that removes plaque between teeth (interdental surface between gums and teeth) by generating 10 million micro waves per second that are safe for the human body. As a toothbrush with new technology, we attempted a design differentiated from existing toothbrushes, established an identity as a premium product, and tried to convey the brand value and message.
Identity
칫솔 손잡이 단면에 둥근 삼각형 형상을 적용하여 그립성을 높이는 동시에 기존의 원기둥, 사각기둥 형태의 전동칫솔류 이미지에서 탈피하여 보다 진화된 칫솔의 아이덴티티를 추구하였다. 고급스러움을 강조한 손잡이 전면의 웨이브 디테일을 이용하여 트로마츠 웨이브의 디자인 특징을 구체화하였고 손잡이 상단과 하단에 날렵하게 모아지는 형태를 적용하여 제품이 보다 가볍고 스마트한 느낌을 주도록 디자인하였다.

손잡이 상단 전면과 하단 후면에 LED 인디케이터를 적용하여 사용중 보다 쉽게 제품의 상태를 파악할 수 있도록 하였으며, 비접촉 무선 충전방식을 적용하여 사용성을 높였다. 거치대를 벽 또는 유리에 부착하는 방식을 적용하여 기존의 바닥에 세워서 충전하는 방식보다 위생적인 면을 개선하였으며, 자석을 이용한 탈부착으로 손쉽게 사용할 수 있도록 하였다. 거치대에도 사다리꼴 형태의 후면 커버 특징을 적용하여 일체감을 높였으며, 충전중인 상태 표시를 위한 라이팅을 적용하여 고급스러우며 스마트한 이미지를 강조하였다.

제품의 후면 커버에 다양한 컬러 적용이 가능하도록 하여 소비자의 다양한 취향을 충족시킬 수 있도록 하였고, 한 공간에 여러 개가 놓일 경우 컬러를 통해 사용자를 구분할 수 있도록 하였다.

Identity
By applying a round triangular shape to the cross section of the toothbrush handle to improve grip, we pursued the identity of a more evolved toothbrush by breaking away from the existing image of electric toothbrushes in the form of cylinders and square pillars. The design characteristics of Tromats-Wave were embodied by using the wave detail on the front of the handle emphasizing luxury, and the product was designed to give a lighter and smarter feel by applying a shape that is sharply gathered at the top and bottom of the handle.
Functionality
LED indicators are applied to the top front and bottom rear of the handle to make it easier to grasp the status of the product during use, and the non-contact wireless charging method is applied to enhance usability. By applying the method of attaching the cradle to a wall or glass, the hygienic aspect was improved compared to the existing method of charging by standing on the floor, and it was easy to use by attaching and detaching using a magnet. The trapezoidal shape of the rear cover was applied to the cradle to enhance the sense of unity, and the luxurious and smart image was emphasized by applying lighting to indicate the charging status.
Color
Various colors can be applied to the back cover of the product to satisfy various tastes of consumers, and when several products are placed in one space, users can be distinguished through color.
