(주)212컴퍼니가 디자인한 (주)브라이토닉스이미징의 PET 치매영상장비 'Pharos PET'가 2021 iT Award 제품디자인 부문에서 대상을 수상하였다. (사)한국디자인산업연합회가 주최하는 잇어워드는 7개 디자인부분(제품, 시각, 패키지, 공간환경, 디지털멀티미디어, 서비스, 생활산업)의 당해 연도 베스트 디자인 및 프로젝트에 대해 시상하는 디자인 산업계의 대표적인 행사이다.

Brightonix Imaging's PET dementia imaging equipment, 'Pharos PET', designed by 212 Company, has won the grand prize in the product design category of the 2021 iT Award. The it Award is an event hosted by the Korea Design Industry Association (KODIA) that awards the best designs and projects of the year in seven design categories.
'PharosPET'는 방사선을 검출함으로써 체내에서 발생하는 기능적 현상을 3차원 영상으로 재구성해 암이나 뇌질환(치매 등)을 진단하는 의료장비로, 건강검진을 받듯 저렴하고 간편하게 뇌를 촬영, 치매를 조기진단하거나 유방암도 간단하게 촬영하여 진단하는 등 국민 건강에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

'Pharos PET' is a medical device that diagnoses cancer or brain diseases, such as dementia, by reconstructing functional phenomena occurring in the body into 3D images through radiation detection. It is expected to contribute to public health by diagnosing or detecting breast cancer through imaging.
디자인은 본체와 디텍터에 곡선과 직선을 적절히 적용하여 형태적으로 신뢰감을 주면서도 따뜻한 이미지를 환자와 오퍼레이터에게 전달하고자 하였으며, 등대를 뜻하는 제품명 ‘Pharos’의 이미지를 적용하여 섬 위에 떠있는 듯한 본체의 이미지를 시각적으로 전달하고자 하였다. 본체의 LED 그래픽은 은은한 조명으로 공간의 편안한 분위기를 살릴 수 있도록 하였고, 디텍터의 LED에는 작동과정을 시각적으로 보여주는 선적인 움직임을 표현하여 오퍼레이터가 검사과정을 쉽게 인지할 수 있도록 하였다. 의자는 다양한 검사 자세를 고려하여 신체의 모든 부분에 무리가 없도록 완만한 단면의 쿠션으로 디자인하였다.

The design of 'Pharos PET' features a combination of curves and straight lines in the main body and detector, which conveys a warm image to patients and operators while providing morphological reliability. The LED graphic of the main body creates a comfortable atmosphere with soft lighting, while the LED of the detector expresses linear movement that visually shows the operation process, making it easy for the operator to recognize the inspection process. The chair is also designed with a gentle cross-section cushion to consider various examination postures, ensuring that there is no strain on all parts of the body.
