NEW DESIGN㈜엑시콘 - 반도체 검사장비 뉴 디자인 제품 출시EXICON - Release of Storage Tester & SoC Tester

㈜212컴퍼니가 디자인한 ㈜엑시콘의 반도체 검사장비 Storage Tester와 SoC Tester가 출시되었다.
Exicon has released its semiconductor inspection equipment, the Storage Tester and SoC Tester, designed by 212 Company.
Storage Tester
스마트함과 정확성을 시각적으로 표현하여 제품의 신뢰감을 강조하고자 모듈식 조형 구조를 제안하였다. 정면과 후면부의 큰 모듈을 모서리 부분의 4개 모듈이 견고하게 잡고 있는 듯한 이미지를 기본으로 하여 제품의 기능적 체계성을 형상화하였다.
향후 엑시콘의 패밀리 아이덴티티를 고려하여 열정과 창조성을 의미하는 CI의 오렌지 톤 컬러를 활용하였고, 이를 정면 왼쪽의 제품명 옆에 포인트 바 그래픽으로 적용하여 좌우 대칭적인 제품에 시각적인 포인트로서 강조하고자 하였다.
측면과 후면의 정비용 도어는 필요한 부분을 제외하고 가능한 범위 내에서 세로로 긴 1도어를 적용하여 사용 시 편리성을 높이면서 양산 시 제작비 절감의 효과를 볼 수 있도록 하였고, 컨트롤 박스의 기성품 모니터와 스위치, 버튼, 키보드, 비상버튼, 각종 포트 등의 요소도 스마트함을 느낄 수 있도록 레이아웃을 체계적으로 정리하였다. 또한 상부에서의 물의 유입을 방지할 수 있는 벤트 홀을 적용하면서 전체적인 디자인과 조화할 수 있는 레이아웃을 추구하여 기능적인 부분이 제품의 첨단성을 강조할 수 있는 디테일적 요소가 될 수 있도록 하였다.
We proposed a modular structural design to visually express smartness and accuracy, emphasizing the reliability of the product. We shaped the functional system of the product based on the image of four modules at the corners firmly holding the larger modules at the front and back.
To consider Exicon's family identity in the future, we utilized the orange tone color of the CI, which symbolizes passion and creativity. We applied this color as a point graphic next to the product name on the left front to emphasize the symmetrical product with a visual point.
For the side and rear maintenance, we applied a single long vertical door within the possible range, except for necessary parts, to increase convenience during use and to save production costs during mass production. We also systematically organized the layout of the control box's off-the-shelf monitor, switches, buttons, keyboard, emergency button, and various ports to give a sense of smartness.
Furthermore, we applied vent hole design to prevent water from entering from the top, pursuing a layout that harmonizes with the overall design. We aimed to make the functional part a detailed element that emphasizes the product's advanced nature.

SoC Tester
선진행된 Storage Tester의 디자인 테마인 모듈식 형태 구조와 스마트한 컬러 대비, 오렌지 포인트 컬러 바의 요소들을 활용하여 동일한 아이덴티티를 부여하고자 하였다.
- POWER RACK: 제품의 기능상 필요한 전후면의 도어를 활용한 패밀리 룩을 살리고자 제품 사이즈는 유지하면서 도어의 측면을 두껍게 조정하여 강력한 모듈식 조형미를 적용하였다. 전면의 도어는 다른 방식으로 열리는 두 개의 상하 도어의 특징을 살려 경계 부분에 모서리 컷을 적용한 반도체 블록의 이미지를 전달하고자 하였다. 또한 2가지 톤의 바디 컬러와 오렌지 포인트 컬러 바를 적용하여 패밀리 아이덴티티를 쉽게 인지할 수 있도록 하였다. 디테일적인 요소로 로고와 디스플레이 각종 버튼들, 키보드, 손잡이, 벤틸레이션 등을 레이아웃에 맞게 정렬하여 사용자가 자연스럽게 기기의 정확성과 체계적인 스마트함을 느낄 수 있도록 고려하였다.
- SoC TEST HEAD: 좌우측 패널 높이를 리얼 소재 스펙 부분과 동일한 높이로 올려 전체적인 큰 블록 이미지를 형성하였고, 좌우를 잡아주는 모듈의 아이덴티티를 정면뷰에 적용하여 동일한 패밀리 룩을 구성하였다. 대비가 강한 2가지 톤 컬러의 바디와 좌측의 수직형 CI 포인트 컬러 바의 적용을 통해 스토리지 테스터와 아이덴티티의 동일화를 추구하였다. 또한 벤틸레이션 아웃 라인, 나사 홀의 위치, 스티커 등의 디테일적인 요소를 레이아웃 라인에 맞도록 정렬하여 제품이 추구하는 정확성과 신뢰의 이미지를 더욱 향상시킬 수 있도록 하였다.
We aimed to create a consistent identity by utilizing the design theme of the previous Storage Tester, which features a modular form structure and a smart color contrast, along with the elements of an orange point color bar.
- POWER RACK: In order to maintain the family look using the doors required for the product's functionality, we applied a strong modular design aesthetic by adjusting the thickness of the sides of the door while keeping the product size. We wanted to convey the image of a semiconductor block by applying a corner cut at the boundary of the front door, which opens in a different way with two upper and lower doors. We also applied two-tone body colors and an orange point color bar to easily recognize the family identity. We considered the layout of the logo, display buttons, keyboard, handles, ventilation, etc. in detail, so that users can naturally feel the accuracy and systematic smartness of the device.
- SoC TEST HEAD: We formed an overall big block image by raising the height of the left and right panels to the same height as the real material specification part, and applied the identity of the module that holds the left and right sides to the front view to create a consistent family look. By applying two-tone body colors with strong contrast and a vertical CI point color bar on the left side, we pursued the identity alignment with the storage tester. We also aligned the detailed elements such as the ventilation outline, screw hole position, and sticker to the layout line, so that we can enhance the image of accuracy and reliability that the product pursues.
